寂静之声(The Sound of Silence)是Paul Simon和Garfunkel合作的一首歌曲，收录在1964年10月19日录制的专辑《Wednesday Morning》中。该歌曲在1967年作为美国电影.，2009年作为电影《守望者》的插曲，2013年作为电影《激战》的插曲。

一、创作背景

1964年，Paul Simon移居欧洲后，开始在巴黎和英国伦敦各种民间俱尔部中演出。返回纽约后，他与CBS的唱片公司签约，制作人为Tom Wilson，并且重新与他的老搭档Garfunkel合作。他们在1964年录制的专辑《Wednesday Morning》，其中包括歌曲《The Sound Of Silence》的销量不是很好，使得Simon返回伦敦。

1967年，Paul Simon和Garfunkel有一个重要的计划是为电影《毕业生》担任音乐制作，在1968年哥伦比亚唱片公司发行的电影原声唱片中，人们听到了《寂静之声》
